How about the van lines that want the agents to “containerize” “vault” small shipments less than 2500 #s & the ship via common carrier to the d/a to deliver to the residence. Shipper is paying blanket wrapped/air ride service & the shipper is receiving containerized, spring ride shipping service. Not receiving what they paid for??? Any thoughts?

These marketing companies, many of them work out of India, that’s not BS, that’s the truth. We were/have been contacted/solicited by several.
Quick story-this was a company out of SoCal, smartalec calls in asking for the owner and I stepped in and asked him if I could help him. He wouldn’t tell me exactly who he was, what company he was calling from, so I h/u on him. He called back in and I said “Sir, until you disclose who you are, what company you are calling from, etc…I’m not putting the call thru.”
Good topic and I am interested in hearing others experience.

Apologies MH, I see this was started 5+ years ago…I used this company back in 2008 long before I knew about this site.
I’ll go back and reread the thread but I’m pretty sure this was the company. It was a local move down here in Miami.
