Hello, I am planning a move from Illinois to Michigan within the next few weeks, and I am having difficulty finding trustworthy companies so I came on this site.

I signed up for a free quote at 123movers.com, and boy was that a mistake. I got inundated with salesmen calling me and emails so I can barely figure out who they are, and one of them actually tried to impersonate All Stars moving in New York (these guys are right beside the river in NJ). When I called them back, I got sent to a different person, who sent me a quote under a different company name. Obviously each quote was lower than the next.

I am getting sick of this and I wanted to hear recommendations of companies who are actually reputable and which people have had good experiences with. I want to move from Urbana, IL (right next to U of I campus) to Northville, Michigan (Detroit Metro Area) early in January, and so far I am not sure who to trust. If anyone can give me any good company names or tips for research, it will be greatly appreciated!
