Nationwide is horrible! They lied to my wife, said they don’t contract out their work but have their own drivers, trucks and movers. When I reviewed the contract, though, all Nationwide does is a service who refers your move out to the cheapest “carrier” they can find! They are not a real moving company (like ABF or Mayflower for instance) and are not listed in the Better Business Bureau directory (not surprised there). Then if something goes wrong, you have to take it up with the “carrier” (and you don’t even know who the carrier is until they show up at your house, whenever that is!) And if Nationwide lies to you in their e-mails about them being a real moving company, you can’t say anything because in the contract they make you sign ideminifies Nationwide Moving Services and their agents of anywrong doing or incorrect information provided to their customers. Great, what a scam! I would recommend an inexpensive, time tested and reliable company that’s B.B.B. certified like ABF Moving Co. (in business since 1923).
