Federal conservationist gives Rhode Island top marks (The Providence Journal)

I don’t know if this is helpful or not, but here are the forms that caused the problem.
Form 1 is the forms for the wrong insurance company that they gave me to fill out and sign when they were selling me insurance. Since the items had already left, they told me to just attach the movers list who packed the items if I couldn’t remember everything. The movers list was just generalized (wedding stuff, kitchen stuff, etc). Then they told me to just guesstimate values because value would be determined by appraisal if anything were to happen. They told me the most important thing was to make sure the values did not exceed the insurance I purchased. http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=F.42eca41d-e85c-4734-a2ed-29559074e8b8
Form 2 is the right forms for the insurance that my claim was submitted to. These forms clearly indicate that every item must be listed and valued accurately http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=F.d35b90b7-f759-45eb-afa7-1cc1c84a1cef
Form 3 is the current forms for the wrong insurance. Not only did they give me the wrong insurance company forms but they gave me outdated ones because the new ones have the same clear information as the correct insurance company did. I was told that the legal jargon on the forms they gave me were not sufficient and the forms were redone.

SO now you can see the dilemna. I bought insurance, signed the papers, paid the fee, and find out that due to an admin error I am not covered. How do you protect yourself from something like that?

Follow-up note The original poster correctd herself on another thread, the coampny handling her shipment was actually Great PLAINS Moving & Storage, not Great West. Great Plains is an agent of North American Van Lines.
The issue is being discussed in more details here, so perhaps that’s where all future correspondance should remain:

Well, no wonder I was confused! You titled your other thread detailing this incident as “Great West Moving and Storage FRAUD/NEGLIGENCE!!” and the only Great West moving I could find was in Washington State. Now that you say it was Great PLAINS Moving, and someone else noted they are an agent of a major van line, I’m going to fix the other thread’s title.

Chatham Knights of Columbus Appalachian toy drive (Chatham Courier)
The 30th annual Chatham Knights of Columbus Appalachian toy drive, Saturday, Nov. 15, was a rousing success. People loaded toys, cloths and foo in a Chatham Moving and Storage van to take to people in need in Appalachia.
